The China Daily has announced a contest for foreigners interested in spending two weeks travelling around to some of China’s best tourist attractions — all expenses paid.

A FREE trip to China’s top tourist attractions, including Mogao Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the picturesque city of Hangzhou and its must-see West Lake! You can also feel the economic pulse in the world-renowned small commodity trade center Yiwu, and explore the Kiev Aircraft as well as the Airbus A320 Final Assembly Line in North China’s Tianjin municipality.

From North China to South China, and from inland to the coast. There will be some pleasant surprises during the tour, from July 22 to Aug 4, 2013. Get a real, personal tour of China’s history, culture, beautiful landscapes, and dynamic changes happening in the world’s second-largest economy. We invite two foreigners to join this “Incredible China” trip organized by China Daily.

July 22 to Aug 4, 2013

Cost
All accommodation, food, transportation and scenic spot tickets will be paid for by China Daily. Travel insurance and all other incidental costs (such as extra nights, international telephone calls and faxes, business center services, room service, laundry and mini-bar charges) shall be settled by participants at their own personal expense.

  1. You are a foreigner living in China.
  2. You are good at photography.

How to apply

  1. Please provide personal information, including your name, phone and current address, and at least five original photos to our email: photos@chinadaily.com.cn. We will not share your personal information with any third party.
  2. The submitted photographs cannot be significantly edited, but cropping is allowed. The photos you submit are ONLY for our selection process for the trip and will not be published in any form.

We also encourage applicants to write briefly about your expectations and motivations about the free trip.

How big is the tour group?
Two winners will work with a group of professional photographers from top international media organizations during the two-week tour.

Any assignment for the free trip?
Yes, we hope you can take as many photos as possible during your trip, and we would like to publish some of them on China Daily’s publications – newspaper, online and mobile.

  1. I wish I have seen this announcement earlier. I am a photographer living in China. What a pity! I have missed this great opportunity to travel in China free of charge!
